Important information:

This Saree is hand embroidered and normally took 15 days to 03 months and some times even more  in completing the process of design printing and embroidering, depending upon the quantity and quality of work. This embroidery is done, usually by women. The last step in the Chikankari embroidery work is washing and finishing, which may take another 10 to 15 days (depending upon the weather condition). It involves bleaching, acid treatment, stiffening and ironing. A large number of manpower is engaged in this work and each piece is prepared by individual craftsmen with a unique design and pattern. Hence it is not always possible to deliver the same design every time.

About Georgette:

Georgette Sarees are very delicate and should be handle with care. These sarees should be preferably dry-cleaned only. All other care should also be taken as of Silk Saree.

Georgette is a stylish fabric made of polyester and nylon. The delicate and soft texture gives it a glamorous look and makes it a comfortable wear. The charming drape of georgette sarees are mingled with traditional Indian designs and patterns. The special georgette sarees that are aesthetically designed to give a gorgeous look are called synthetic georgette sarees.

Georgette has a crepe surface and it is a lightweight fabric. The fabric is more opaque and heavier than chiffon and made from crepe fibers that are twisted. The georgette sarees are primarily worn on festive occasions and party with trendy fashion jewellery. These sarees are soft, light and easy to carry and have fascinating combination of color, fabric and design. All Georgette sarees come with Embroidered Blouse (attached to the Saree) to complement the designer look. These sarees do not swell up like cotton or heavily decorated sarees and cling to the body to give a slim look.

Washing Instructions:

These sarees are very delicate and always Dry Wash is recommended. For extra stiffness and shining, have Charak polish as for final finishing.
